Alex Apostolopoulos - Delivering Multinational Law Services
A New York attorney with a major US-based multinational law practice, Alex Apostolopoulos most recently practiced as a tax partner and focuses on business enterprise acquisitions and dispositions. Working to optimize tax structures, he drafts a variety of transactional documents, and assists with IPOs and private equity investments. Alex has facilitated numerous high-profile M&A transactions and has worked to accomplish separations, or the spin-off of divisions into their own legal entities.
Alex Apostolopoulos notably assisted the home equity investment company Hometap with wide-ranging strategic investments and tax concerns. He has advised a number of early-stage and seed venture capital firms in continuation fund and restructuring transactions. Alex Apostolopoulos has also served on a special committee that managed Clearwater Analytics’ agreement to terminate its tax receivable agreement, related to $72.5 million in one-time settlement payments.
Alexander Apostolopoulos graduated magna cum laude and earned his JD at Harvard Law School and assisted now-Senator Elizabeth Warren, then a Harvard Law School professor, on her work as chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel of the Troubled Asset Relief Program.
